2024 RACE INFORMATION
RACE HQ - Number collection, toilets, changing and bag store: St Michael's First School, Weaver's Lane, Stone. ST15 8QB.
NOTE: NEW IN 2024, AN EARLIER START TIME OF 9AM from the junction of Priory Road and De Wint Road, a 400 metre walk from the school.
Runners please assemble in Weaver's Lane by 8.50am.
Male and Female changing and toilet facilities are available at the school, but no showers. We have a supervised, secure room in which you can leave your kit.
THE ROUTE (also see map and video below) - The route is a fully marshaled 2 lap course along the A51 and A34 with lead motorbike and back-up vehicle.
We have one of the UK's fastest and flattest courses where PB's are almost guaranteed!
PRIZES AND FINISH - Prizes for first 3 overall male and female + usual age categories and local runners prize, presented as soon as possible after the race finish.
A medal for all finishers!
Refreshments and cake stall available at the finish.
ENTRY INFO - The race limit is 500. Whilst we may be able to accept entries on the day (+£2 admin fee), the race normally fills up around 1 month before race day, so please enter promptly to secure your place!
Entrants must be at least 15 years of age on race day. Our course is unsuitable for wheelchairs. Use of MP3 / other music players is strictly prohibited for safety reasons, any runners found using music players will be disqualified.
CHIPS AND RACE NUMBERS MUST BE COLLECTED FROM THE SCHOOL AT LEAST 30 MINUTES BEFORE THE START OF THE RAC

PARKING
Strictly no parking in Weaver's Lane or the school entrance. To alleviate congestion on the course, around the school and housing estates, parking is available in the following areas:
Westbridge Park. ST15 8EX: Main race car park - signs and marshals to direct you, just a 10 minute walk / jog to the race HQ, along the canal.
Alternative Parking:
Crown Street Car Park. ST15 8AS: Public parking and toilets are available in Crown Street.
Station Road and Margaret Street. ST15 8EW On street parking, free on Sundays.
Stone Cricket Club. ST15 8NS: Situated along Lichfield Road and parking for 20 cars. Limited parking near the start but please consider residents in this area.
